WASHINGTON, D.C.— September 27, 2012— The Washington, D.C. Electrical Alliance gave local kids a hands-on glimpse into the career of an electrician at National Building Museum’s Big Build on Saturday.

LANHAM, MD— July 24, 2012—The Washington, DC Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC), End Hunger in Calvert County, So. Maryland Job Source, State of Maryland DLLR and the Tri-County Council for Southern Maryland have joined forces to help people in need get jobs.

The Department of Labor Office of Apprenticeship will recognize the organization at the 75th Anniversary of the signing of the National Apprenticeship Act.

LANHAM, MD— July 17, 2012—The U.S. Department of Labor (DOL) has recognized the Washington, DC Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee (JATC) for the opportunity it gives veterans, women, minorities, youth and dislocated workers to embark on a stable, high paying career in electrical construction.
